As he often does, my ten-year-old son asked that I leave his light on low as he climbed into bed. I told him I was tired and did not want to have to turn it off after he was asleep, but still I complied.As he settled in, he mused, "I don't know what I am going to do when I am a grownup. I'll have to get a timer or something."
